Jessica’s schoolgirl persona. An Upper Sixth pupil at the famous Lowewood Academy, Jessica is a mostly good girl who gets into an awful lot of trouble, mainly due to her inability to open her mouth without inserting her foot. As her parents are dead**, she is looked after by two crusty uncles, who you’ll sometimes see featured in these pages. Doing very wicked things….
Miss Lydia Marwood
In 1809, the star of the Drury Lane Theatre company. Famous actress and even more famous courtesan, mistress of Lord Fawcett who is head of the famous Hellfire Club. Beautiful, capricious and very, very expensive, Lydia is good both in and out of bed and had been known to reduce grown men to jelly with a flick of her tongue. Men have written odes about it.

It’s a shame lots of the other girls really fancy her and she certainly knows how to turn that to her advantage. Mean, capricious, sadistic and Machiavellian, Juliet is the very worst of women. Now why is that so damn attractive?

Not the famous author. This Rose also inhabits 1809 but is the owner of a fashionable hat-shop. A former Reformatory girl at the Lowewood Institute for Deliquent and Debauched Girls, she came to Lord Fawcett’s attention and benefitted deeply from his generous endowment. Hence the shop and the self-satisfied smile…..
Camilla Erskine
Student Camilla is a high-class call girl in her spare time. Not so much Belle de Jour as Belle de Fessée, Camilla is well known in The Dorchester and is very, very expensive and well worth the money – because she’ll try anything once.****
Violet Murray
A maid by any other name….inhabits various grand houses and different roles from scullery maid to housekeeper but appears when Jessica feels like doing some cooking and curtseying a lot. She feels that flower-arranging defines her as a person, but strangely enough, Violet’s Masters and Mistresses rarely see that as her main attraction….
They are the main players – but there are others….
Now you may well concede from the above that Jessica appears to have multiple-personality disorder. Which is true. But all Jessica knows is she’s having way too much fun for one person. So why not share it with all the other personalities?
