15 OctKing or Parliament?

Gratuitous picture of hunky men in period clothes...Jessica was feeling historical last week, so a Civil War scene was on the cards. Jessica likes to wear pretty dresses and be a lady (much more fun to rip off) so obviously, she and Scarlett were going to be on the King’s side which left HWMBO to fight for democracy and be the Parliamentarian.

And so it was that Lady Arabella Neville and Lady Georgiana Crecy, cousins and childhood friends were at home in the Manor of Middlesex.  Lady Georgiana was visiting Arabella at home after the news had reached her of the death of her fiancé at the Battle of Edgehill. Arabella was also somewhat distracted as her husband, Sir Francis Neville was on the run from the parliamentary forces and was hiding in nearby Middlesex woods*

Suddenly, the door was thrown open and both ladies were disturbed from their sack by the sudden appearance of a rough man in their drawing room, shouting that he was there in the name of Parliament. This cut little ice with Arabella and Georgiana, who recognised no authority but the King’s. However, they were but weak women and their instructions to the man to remove himself instantly from their presence were cut off when Captain Oglivie (for that was his name), slapped Georgiana viciously across the face, rendering them both silent.

“Where was Sir Francis Neville?” he asked menacingly.

Both were silent. Both knew, but neither would willingly give him up to the Captain and his troop. Thus an impasse beckoned and the Captain had his duty to do.

He began by spanking them both over his knee. Never before has either lady suffered such an indignity from such a rough and unpleasant man. He stripped them of their fine clothes, calling them an offence against God and man. All the time, he was pressing them for answers on the whereabouts of Sir Francis and although both women protested that they had not seen him this fortnight, he did not believe them and eventually, decided that his hand was insufficient to draw the knowledge from them and moved on to a paddle, before removing his thick leather belt and beating them both until red welts raised on their pale skin and both writhed with pain – but neither broke. And then the Captain, committed the ultimate indignity, debauching them both where they lay as Arabella wept for her husband and Georgiana for her virtue.

Captain Oglivie declared that he still had much to ask them both and that they should prepare themselves for a long night of torment  – but first he required food as he had ridden hard to their house and even harder on his arrival. He then went to bathe and avail himself of hot water for the first time in weeks.

In the kitchen, the ladies looked at each other despairingly.

“What shall we do?” asked Arabella.

“Well, I think I’ll have a drink.” answered Georgiana.

“Ok. Then I’ll have a fag. Then a drink.” said Arabella.

Then Jessica and Scarlett both giggled hysterically and started making dinner. There’s nothing like a good interrogation session to work up an appetite!

Jessica, no wonder there were so many Parliamentarians if they got to do that to fine ladies, and received such hospitality afterwards. :D
    Warm hugs,
    Paul.

Is that a picture of you and I dressed up at the top of the post? I thought you said those wouldn’t go on t’internet? I don’t want people to know that I have a beard….

Seriously though, it was *so* hot. And I didn’t tell him where my husband was. Well done me. Well done us.

No matter be it King or Parliament, naughty ladies of the realm need a good spanking on their bare bottoms, be it with a hand, paddle, hairbrush, birch, cane or whip.

    …And that’s what we got!
